We decided to create a section all on its own for miniature advertising jugs. They are just as interesting and often feature just as much detail as their full size counterpart. Most distillers offer a miniature version of their advertising jugs. We are seeing more of these becoming available on the internet in many of the breweriana and whisky related sites.
Not all collectors have oceans of space to display their collectables. Full size ceramics take up a massive amount of room on shelves or in cabinets. The miniature jugs allow people to enjoy the thrill of having a jug collection but only in a fraction of the space required to display them. Because of their compact size compared to their bigger counterpart, the jugs generally seem to be in better condition, less fragile and show less wear and tear but unfortunately don't come much, if any, cheaper than the larger jugs.
As with some of our other sections, our mini jug collection is in its infancy. We keep adding items to this section of the website as soon we get them, but we seem to sell them quicker than we can source replacements.
